About the Coach:

Coach Jason has been coaching basketball, baseball, and soccer in various degrees for over twenty years. Coach Jason played D-III basketball in college which gave him the passion to invest in young athletes. This is Coach Jason’s third year coaching at The Pilgrim Academy. He previously coached baseball and soccer for Vineland Township Athletics, and he spent eighteen years coaching at Cumberland Christian School where his three older children played and eventually graduated from.

Coach Jason believes that playing sports as a young person is foundational for life. Winning and losing is not the end goal, but rather how a person handles himself in each situation. These opportunities teach amazing life lessons to each athlete and help develop well-rounded individuals.

Coach Jason is the Teaching Pastor at Faith Bible Church in Vineland, NJ, where he has served for twenty-one years. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in Bible from Lancaster Bible College, and he also holds a graduate degree in theology from Liberty University.
