Shaping Lives Through Christian Education

SCIENCE FAIR — The following students are winners in the Pilgrim Academy’s annual Science Fair.  Many of them will go on to compete at the Jersey Shore Science Fair held in March.  9A Physical Science: Margaret Kling 3^rd, Hayley Haberstroh 2^nd, and Inez Yu 1^st place with “Save Power by the Hour”.  9B: Honorable Mention: Virginia Holman, Hannah Davis and Mark Marienski 3^rd place, Sarah Marienski 2^nd, and Joshua Trepiccione 1^st place with “The Write Stuff”.  10^th grade Biology: Honorable Mentions go to Skye Cairo, Peter Holland and Sarah Raynor.  Ashleigh McConnell 3^rd, Justin Chubb 2^nd and Sarah Guerrier 1^st place with “Does Gravity Affect Root Growth?”  11 & 12^th grades: Honorable Mentions go to Samantha Jillson, Kristen Silipigni, and Vincent Chiara.  Allison Stefanoni 3^rd, and Christine Fitzpatrick 1^st place with “Which Combination of Paper, Ink and Toner Produce the Highest Archival Quality Documents when Exposed to a High Ultra Violet Radiation Source?”  Special Awards:  The John Ambrose Fleming Award: Inez Yu and Ashleigh McConnell 2^nd, and Sarah Raynor 1^st place.
